All the 80's babys get ready for Stephen Sommer’s big screen live-action adaptation of "G.I. Joe."
Stephen Sommers is directing Stuart Beattie's latest screenplay draft based on the popular Hasbro action figures, comic book series and Saturday morning cartoon. That cartoon featured military soldiers fighting a terrorist group called Cobra
Storm Shadow aka Tommy S. Arashikage, Snake-Eye's brother and rival will be played by Korean Mega Star BYEONG-HEON LEE!
Rachel Nichols will play Scarlett, a skilled martial artist who specializes in hand-to-hand combat and counterintelligence.
Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play ordnance expert Heavy Duty and Taghmaoui will play Breaker, the team's communications specialist.
Miller will play the Baroness, known for her espionage skills.
Also there are rumors that Mark Whalberg will be in the flick aswell
G.I. Joe is due out to hit theaters on August 7th 2009.
