LIL WAYNE CONCERT DRAMA EXPLAINED
HERE IS THE STORY FROM DJ IP WHO WAS THERE AS TOLD TO ILLSEED.
I drove 4 hours from V-Tech to VCU in Richmond to see Lil Wayne perform. The show "started" at 7 with a handful of up and coming openers as usual, many were booed. The drama didn't start until 10:45, when the hosts ran out of acts and Wayne was no where to be found. The hosts swore Wayne was in the building, and kept reminding us of his managers promise to land in Richmond at 6. The refund line was packed. Wayne didn't show up until midnight. Weezy comes on stage looking very depressed, with a middle finger salute to his DJ, and tries to attempt a decent show, he then pauses and blames his attitude on someone in his crew, later revealed to be the his childhood friend and DJ Taz Poe. The beef has something to do with someone (Taz Poe?) calling Wayne a junkie, advising him to attend rehab, and his court date that afternoon. Wayne announces that everyone we see with him today, will no longer accompany him...never. Wayne proceeded to disrespectfully cue the DJ - "start the next track BITCH". Wayne later ordered the audience to shout Fuck You to the DJ. Wayne steps off stage after 10 minutes of this on stage circus, taking many breaks between cuts to argue with the DJ.
Wayne comes back a new man after 5 minutes of crowd chanting Weezy! (Jay-Z encore style), and does a great show, as if nothing ever happened. One of the final songs in his show was Go DJ, and he thanked Taz Poe for buying him the guitar used in the leather so soft video, which he used for a couple cuts on stage. I am very confused on if the crew is fired or not, but I don't really care, the show was amazing.- DJ IP

The sibling duo Pusha T. and Malice, have officially launched a line called Play Cloths.
Bold, rich colors feature prominently, said Pusha Thursday. He took his scrapbook of inspirations to Virginia designers, who helped him develop the pieces. T-shirts will be the staple of the line initially, with denims, jackets, sweatshirts and knits figuring in later.
“It’s based around the idea of when clothes were collectables,” he said. “It represents youth and influence.”
Clipse, who plan to release an album next summer, said they’ll promote the clothing line at the fashion trade show Magic in Las Vegas in February. Pusha declined to comment on price, but said Play Cloths will only be carried at select boutiques.

SUGE KNIGHT BANNED IN COMPTON ?
LOS ANGELES City officials asked a judge to ban members of the Mob Piru street gang from being able to congregate in a neighborhood of Compton - and asked that the order include Marion "Suge" Knight.
The co-founder of Death Row Records was one of 200 people the officials said were members of Mob Piru. The injunction would ban them from congregating, carrying guns, drinking alcohol in public or staying out past 10 p.m.
Knight called the injunction a "publicity stunt."
"This is crazy," Knight told the Los Angeles Times in Thursday's editions. "I'm a 42-year-old businessman, not a gang member. I don't even live in Compton anymore." - Kvue.com

LIL WAYNE ARRESTED BY THE FEDZ !
Law enforcement officials told Tmz.com Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., was arrested near Yuma, Arizona last night on three felony counts: possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cops tell TMZ that the Drug Enforcement Agency was involved in the arrest -- which means it's a big deal! We're told Lil' Wayne's tour bus went through a US Border Patrol checkpoint when the narcotics were allegedly found, that's when the DEA was called in.
Wayne is currently in the custody of the Yuma County Sheriff's Department, where he'll be held pending his arraignment at 9:00 AM PT. - TMZ.Com
LIL KIM 2 KISS ATLANTIC GOODBYE !
Lil Kim has reportedly been released from her contract with Atlantic Records. In a recent article, Billboard.com cites her comments during an appearance on DJ Kay Slay’s Shade45 radio show “Streetsweeper Radio” as confirmation of the split. During the interview, Kim noted that she harbors no ill feelings towards the label but is eager to release her next album independently. The diminutive Brooklyn MC is rumored to be in negotiations with Imperial Records, the independent division of Capitol Music Group that Fat Joe is currently signed to. While Billboard was unable to confirm the move with any of Kim’s representatives, she did state that she feels prepared to work her next project without the backing of a major label. Her last full length project was 2005’s The Naked Truth, which has scanned 394,000 copies to date according to Nielsen Soundscan. Her as-of-yet untitled new album is now scheduled for release in April or May. - XXL Magazine
